In the Footsteps of Marrano Families

Following the expulsion from Spain in 1492, thousands of families arrived in Portugal, where they were forced to convert to Christianity and live as Marranos. Through three separate stories, we follow the subsequent forced emigration of each family. The second segment, "Living Moments in Jewish Spain," accompanied by beautiful Ladino music, introduces us to Jewish life in Medieval Spain.
