CHILDREN OF JERUSALEM (SET OF 7)
This fascinating series of seven half hour documentaries, produced by the National Film Board of Canada, focuses on the daily lives, hopes, dreams and fears of Israeli and Arab children who live in and around the holy city of Jerusalem. Aged 9 through 13, each child has his/her unique life. Although they all live in close geographic proximity to one another, their lifestyles are light years apart. The children narrate the films themselves, which makes the series all the more compelling. Directed by Academy Award-winning director Beverly Shaffer.
